On the hills of Offida, between the town of Ascoli Piceno and the Adriatic Sea, where the vines grow in abundant luxuriance, is where the TERREPICENE Cellar is situated, which carries forward the ancient tradition of good wine, still offering today a simple and wholesome wine production. The Cellar was founded in 1999 in an area dedicated to vineyards and olive groves; it expanded over time and is now a company of which many producers in the Picene area are partners.
A modern company, especially interested in the latest wine-making technologies, such as soft pressing, fermentation at controlled temperature, and phytosanitary control. The grapes are first harvested taking into account their variety and quality, then selected and made into wine with the most advance techniques, resulting in a net improvement in the quality of the wine.
The Cellar also has oak casks where certain red wines can mature, such as the Rosso Piceno superiore DOC and Offida Rosso DOC, exalting to the full their characteristics; they are among the most well-known and appreciated DOC wines, not only thanks to the nature of the terrain and the climatic conditions, but also because of the technologies used by the TERREPICENE Cellar.
